To Get You In the Mood

I have a novel that I have been working on for quite a number of years now.  I've reinvented it so many times and have gotten so many other projects as a result, that I've decided to put it on the shelf to marinate while I dedicate my time elsewhere.  Which brings me here.

The other night I crawled into bed very excited because it was 9:00, and I was finally going to get a good nights sleep.  Time-wise, at least.  Unfortunately for me and my sleep-deprived brain, an idea popped into my head.  An idea that kept me coming back to the computer for the next few hours.  The last time I looked at the clock that night it was midnight.  So much for sleep.

This new idea, aptly titled To Never Be has given me so much renewed energy in my writing.  I'm very excited about this project!

Music has always provided much of my inspiration, and it's been no different in this instance.  Well, Stephanie Meyer, eat your heart out--to get you in the mood for To Never Be when it's finally released, please check out the soundtrack I've been putting together.

In no particular order:

The End Where I Begin by The Script
Frozen by Within Temptation
Beauty and the Beast by Stevie Nicks
Wreck You by Heidi Newfield
Closer to You by Adelitas Way
I'm in Here by Sia
I Don't Wanna Talk About It by Rod Stewart
Be Be Your Love by Rachael Yamagata

Stay tuned!  This is by no means and exhaustive list.  So far, I just think these songs perfectly fit the mood and the theme of the story.
